With twelve #1 songs to his credit and a “Song Of The Year” Grammy Award to his name, Josh Osborne is one of Nashville’s most sought after songwriters.
In 2012, Osborne scored his first #1 song with Kenny Chesney’s “Come Over”. Many #1 songs followed, including Eli Young Band’s “Drunk Last Night”, Blake Shelton’s “Sangria”, “Leave The Light On” and “Take Your Time” by Sam Hunt, “We Are Tonight” by Billy Currington, and Keith Urban’s “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16”. In addition to “Come Over”, Kenny Chesney scored two additional #1’s in 2016 with Osborne penned tunes, “Wild Child” and “Setting The World On Fire”, a crossover smash with duet partner, Pink.
2014 was a particularly exciting year for Osborne. In addition to being awarded the Grammy for Best Country Song in recognition of co-writing Kacey Musgraves’ “Merry Go ‘Round," his name was also added to the prestigious Country Music Highway which crosses the state of Kentucky near his hometown of Virgie.
