Rackhouse Pilfer

‘Rackhouse Pilfer’ are an exciting 6 piece Irish-Americana & Alt-Country band from Sligo, Ireland.

Most recently they were invited by Super Producer Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams) to be the session band on 2 tracks for Sir Tom Jones new album 'Long Lost Suitcase' (released Oct 9th 2015), one track being the lead single 'Honey, Honey', a Duet with Imelda May.

 Awarded "Live Band of the year 2014" by Hotpress Magazine/Jagermeister & "Best Folk/Trad 2015" by Hotpress Magazine (Readers’ Choice Award) beating out some of Ireland's heavy-weights in this category.

 They are a regular band on Irish TV having played on 'The Ray D'Arcy Show', 'The Today Show' and 'Fleadh TV' among others.

 They've released 2 albums 'Back to the Country' & 'Love and Havoc', the latter of which was recorded in Nashville and produced by Brad Jones. Album #3 to be released February 2017.

 Rackhouse Pilfer have played and headlined some of Ireland's, UK's and Europe's biggest music festivals including Country2Country at The O2 London, La Roche Bluegrass France, Omagh Bluegrass, Body & Soul, Sea Sessions, Great British Folk Festival & many more. They have also played for the Irish President Michael D Higgings.
